Joe's Corner for the week:
This week was a change in that President Joe was unfortunately away and our stand in President Brad took time out from the onerous role of Sergeant to run the meeting. That role he handed PP Steve and according to my spies no one got out with any change in their pockets.
One of the announcements from the DG tht caught PP BRad's eye was the fact that India has not reported a new case of Polio for the last 12 months. An outstanding achievement.
Our Guest Speakers were introduced by PDG Jack. They explained that song & dance were vital components of their culture, used to tell stories and maintain lifestyle. A full report in the Bulletin.

Speaker for next
week is Shanuki Kathriarachchi, who will speak on a Costa Rican
education program for the underprivileged.
District Conference is coming up in March.

February is Valentines month so make sure you
organise to bring your significant other to the meeting on the 13th. A
Valentines spectacular night will be fun for all.
